I haven't changed software.

This thing goes thru a quart of oil about every 400 miles. None of it hits the ground.

I'm wondering if I have fouled plug(s) or O2 sensor. Gonna pull plugs later today. They've only been in for about 5000 miles; installed in December.
Shit man, 1 qt per 400 miles.
You're running on oil not gas, no wonder you're getting good fuel mileage.
I would get it rebuilt or get a better engine, you're spending that money on oil

Only problem I have had with mine (don’t have mileage) but 2 years plus and if it hiccups I crawl under and change fuel filter. Sometimes quite often. I’m sure less than 5K on filter each time. All times fuel pressure on screen goes wonky. I have new tank, pickup and pump. So I just carry lots extras and chalk up to s?’t fuel now a days.

I guess you don't drive it that much.
I spend that much on oil changes alone and I don't burn any
About 1000 miles a month. I don't change the oil but once a year. Use a 15000 mile filter and I figure it's getting enough fresh oil. :D

If you can get it in your area, you can try clear gas that doesn't have ethanol.

buy no eth when I’m roaming here Iocal but when traveling backroads it gets scarce. I have an app for that HaHa

What’s up fellas finally getting my motor running . Run great then all of a sudden the IAC percentage goes crazy 20s to 50s % then it well settle and be within range and run perfect I’ve run the setup a couple times keeps doing the same thing. Anyone have this issue ?

Mine will hit those numbers when it’s cold. Probably also do it if you have the idle and IAC set wrong so they fight each other

Mine does that if I restart it after less than 5-6 minutes. Hunts up and down for maybe 5-10 seconds and then all good. I’m sure there is something in the settings to fix it. I’m too happy with the way it treats me mile after mile to mess with it. And probably to tech unsavvy to mess with settings.

i wish they had a knock sensor in the unit .

otherwise its doing good for me .
That’s one of the single most expensive circuits on a TBI (escm)

Makes you wonder why ask the aftermarket seats don’t use it

I find i ping more under load up big hills if i dont keep the rpm's up in a lower gear .

350/L31 vortec th400 4.10 31.5inch tire 87 octane fuel . I would have to check my current settings for adv info .

Ok so here’s the issue seems to run fine from cold start to operating temp . I’m new to tuning and not really sure what I’m looking at any help or advice would be appreciated .

Definitely something wrong, like you didn’t lock in the timing after you set it. No way the timing should see double digit swings below 1k RPM

It runs fine then all of a sudden boom runs like crap.

Which map? And did you get the IAC and idle set correctly
