I like mine, I tried to mimic the geometry of the TBI unit and it seems nice, even offroad.how is the pedal pull on these edelbrock kits ?

I haven't even tried to look at mileage yet. I just passed 200 miles. I know that it was using too much fuel for a fair while, but I believe that has cut back a good bit. My long term fuel trim even shows that. It is smelling better, but no proof in numbers. The TBI was going through too much gas before I pulled it, so I figured that it can only improve.... I hope.10-4on pics when i am ready . ..
and for those running this system whats your mpg average ? i am doing around 6.25 or so on my sniper .![]()

354 CID '72 block, Edelbrock 5089 heads with 2.02 /1.60 valves, compression is estimated at 9.7(?), not sure.. cam was originally intended for TBI, seem to recall 425/447 lift and 210/220 duration. Shorty headers.
The duration numbers are part of what Edelbrock makes the decision on to select base map.
I used the top throttle blade spot, right at the tip. It's a bit soft without the return springo.k. i think i am close to pulling the trigger on a pro flo 4 system for my brand new L31 vortec engine in the truck .
knowing all my problems with the sniper and now removing the unit its time to turn the page .
will i be happier with the edelbrock kit for those who have had both ?
does it tune good with less input and changes from you unlike the sniper ?
have you noticed a better throttle pedal feel as close to stock as possible ?
are you glad you picked it or its o.k. or its not what everyone says it is ?
my plan is the unit with tablet and fuel pressure regulator kit from them for return system as my truck is plumbed this way already .

I have dual intake pattern on the heads, so I reverted back to the Gen1 style intake and used the Edelbrock supplied ones@Bent77
any opinions of intake gasket brand for the pro flo 4 to vortec or use the 2 pattern gaskets they send with it ? trying to get my ducks in order for the order .
I you zoom in, I have added an inline gage setup. It is a -6 F swivel and a -6 M that has a NPT port. The fitting on the fuel rail is -6 F swivel.and the fuel pressure sender -6m to -6f with 1/8" pipe thread to hold the sensor . is it just 1 port or 2 with 1 plugged off ? i want to add in my gauge i have on the dash now so when i am not doing tablet i still can watch and verify .
trying to lay out my fuel stuff in my head to order yet hook up to my original lines i made for the old efi toilet .
