waiting on my regulator kit from edelbrock . . . long story but its o.k. in the end . and i have been banging this project out for now - https://ck5.com/forums/threads/3-to-4-build-for-the-family.336341/ more pics tonight of the progress .
When I got home tonight, my tablet showed a few updates available, E-tuner was one. Got it installed, now I will have to see if I can tell a difference.
ya i am going in the house soon and will see what it does . the shop has cat6 internet . house has the wifi signal . over 130ft it dosnt reach .

Right at 200 miles. Can still feel tuning adjustments, but the weather has been unstable so no good info other than it starts in single digit temps
It does run clean enough at those temperatures that I’ve not been warming it to 180 and driving it. Jump in, let it run for a couple minutes and drive. No issues with it like this

well i finally received my regulator kit today almost 2 weeks later . the level of quality on the pro flo 4 looks super . but the threads and seats for the regulator unit and adapter leave a lot to be desired compared to the units level of quality and care . it seemed to assemble and install good after i cleaned up the threads with a file and pick and cleaned the seat area's also . these parts look to have been handled by a bunch of troll's and the q.c. guy that day must have been sleeping or hung over .
i am not complaining to much as it all went together and will see if it seals up . just reporting my findings .
hope to get the unit installed in the next week or so . got a few jobs to finish yet in the shop .

Which model of Edelbrock regulator? I've had good luck with the Aeromotive regulators in the past.
edelbrock 17400 kit that fits directly on the end of the rail .
its just the built quality level from the pro flo 4 rails and tb unit compared to these parts in the kit minus clamps and filter is below standard . i don't think its going to be problem . just was a bit disappointing was all .

I don't remember having any issues with my regulator parts, but I may have just forgotten.
i would have taken pics but the fine threads that had marks in them and 1 the end of the thread was mushed over and then the seat area of the AN fitting and the tube of the AN adapter up in to the body of the regulator were so small they wouldn't show up on my pics to post . and the end fuel rail adapter looks cast over a machined piece like the rail its self .
its no biggy just a crappy quality control during manufacturing and end package .

Yeah looks cheap. Are you able to adjust that regulator for different fuel pressure?
And yes not impressed with throttle body compared to previous MPFI systems. I may swap TB with a billet one I have

Fixed reg . They offer 2 psi options so not much need I don't think . As to the TB seems ok to me . I will look it over more .
The regulator has a vacuum reference port which lowers the pressure with high vacuum. I have watched it, it doesn't lower it much, I believe only 3 psi.
I thought that the throttle body looked good for the price of the kit, considering that they used to charge a whole lot more for previous versions. And the Sniper system with ignition control was only a couple hundred less, with fewer parts and technology.
I still am going to look into a method of hooking up my cruise control to the lever, though.

cant we get a little love around here .......... why do i need to sit in the dark shadow's of the shop and not feed my honey all the fuel she wants . ?
