Be sure to purchase the CORRECT coil. I bought the wrong one at first.

i had that OTHER brand efi all done up so nice and neat / tucked away / hidden ......... and got screwed . so i just tossed this thing in the engine bay and hoped for the best . and over 1.5 years now i think and no real problems . altho i should tune it a bit to make it run better .

I put my ECM in the factory tray as well. It gave me a good reason to use the hole and grommet from the original harness.
I believe that if the ECM is under the hood, they recommend to have the plug ports pointed down, even if only a small amount, to let water run away from the ECM pins in case it got past the seal.

i want it in the cab somewhere, just wondering what size hole i will have to drill into the firewall

was going to get blaster 2, what are you guys using?

This is the coil I ended up using with the Edlebrock Pro-FLo 4. MSD Part # 8223. This one makes it easier for the coil wire and is available at most parts stores. Since the coil is close to distributor I tried a very short 4" wire but that did not turn out well and is way too short. Ended with a longer one that does half circle around distributor to the coil. Same thing as the Blaster 2 but with a different terminal.
