Playing around with the tablet and watching things like vacuum this thing at idle used to only make 7 to 8 pounds , now I’m getting 15 at idle and over 23 cruzing.
Why does it do so much better

Vacuum is usually inHg, were you in negative psi before? If so that's almost the same.

Also, both the A/F ratio and the timing can affect vacuum, in fact when you tune carb idle A/F ratio screws you are suppose to tune them for the most idle vacuum, but when you get closer the RPM goes up at the same throttle position so it makes it more efficient at the correct A/F ratio and makes more vacuum. So more than likely its running better because of timing and fueling and therefor it produces more vacuum.

Well on a 30 deg morning I went and played with cold modifications and had to ad 7 before it would run and stay running

Did you notice the advanced map in there? I added different amounts for the temperature ranges.
After it learns and trims some fuel, that is what I had to do as well.

i did and when you add to the bottom one the ecu adds to everything else.........

Is it optional or they forgot to include it?
Meant to respond sooner to this. Its optional now. You have to call them and they will send you one for free if you have the older style.

Add 7 to what exactly?

First One is normal mode
Second one is advanced
this is where I added 7 to it

Good info! Havent messed with mine yet. I guess I need to leave it out in the cold

Is everyone using the Edelbrock fuel pressure regulator? According to the table I'll need 43psi for the C10. Which is too bad because there are a lot more options for a 58psi system.

Kinda bummed to realize you have to get a separate regulator. There are a couple bad reviews on Summit for the 43psi regulator. What kind of experience are you all having with it. Or are there other potentially better options?

Everyone on CK5 is using the edelbrock FPR from what I’ve seen. Of course you could use an adjustable FPR however you can plan on spending a lot more money too.

ya the adjustable fpr cost 2 to 3 times what the eddy version costs. and im using 58 psi one

get what you think it will need

I have the 43 psi one. I don't think that I have had a problem, it seems to pull pressure when the vacuum comes up.
I haven't looked at the maps to see if I should have gone with the 58.

43 psi and no problems . i watch my pressure go up/down all the time as my vac gauge moves so its all working .

to get full advantage of the system use a vac referenced regulator . the edelbrock units for these kits are .

oh and i have prob 6k + miles now on my pro flow 4 . :saweet:

43 psi and no issues, has about 5k on it

I thought I had a plan to run a system without needing a return line, but it's set at 58psi. I can't see anyway that I can run 58psi with a stock 350, so I'll have to change plans and use the 43psi regulator. Like @Kain mentioned, the adjustable regulators are too expensive to justify using in my case. I could see using it if a person was planning a future big HP upgrade to their engine and wanted the ability to increase fuel pressure in the future.

I should have read thru this thread closer because I also realized today there aren't and throttle cable brackets. I saw the fancy one @Bent77 scored, but I was wondering if anyone has been able to use the factory Qjet version? I need to set it up for the TH350 kickdown.
