Playing around with the tablet and watching things like vacuum this thing at idle used to only make 7 to 8 pounds , now I’m getting 15 at idle and over 23 cruzing.
Why does it do so much better
Vacuum is usually inHg, were you in negative psi before? If so that's almost the same.
Also, both the A/F ratio and the timing can affect vacuum, in fact when you tune carb idle A/F ratio screws you are suppose to tune them for the most idle vacuum, but when you get closer the RPM goes up at the same throttle position so it makes it more efficient at the correct A/F ratio and makes more vacuum. So more than likely its running better because of timing and fueling and therefor it produces more vacuum.
