Yep, that's a donut spare. We cut the center out and welded in an 8 lug spare. I happen to have the 8 lug hubs and spindles and didn't feel any need to get a different hub. It was easier for us to recenter the wheel.
They are mounted to the table now. Pretty close to the ground. When you air the tires up, lifts the legs on that end off the ground approx. 1.5". Tires are fairly low profile so that was about all we could get out of them.
Built a hitch point on the other end. Now we can put the ball adapter on the forks. It goes on both forks at the same time that way we're not trying to do it with one fork, lift up and move it anywhere we need to. The way we have it set up we can jack knife the trailer to a pretty sharp turn.
Personally I think it'd look cooler if we recentered another pair and set them up as duals but alas... It's more functional this way and much simpler.

I didn't look back to see who had said it. It's the simplest way to do it. Might be nice to have a valve stem that will air the tires down quickly without having to sit there and hold the thing.

or farm/industrial steam for liquid fill for weight . they have reg end but the main section comes out and is a huge hole for filling liquid . makes for quick dump also of air .
