FarSoCal and AZ

Here is how the first 4 hours of the trip was spent by Readymix and I:doah: .

Didn't even make it 10 ft off of the paved road:mad: . We thought we broke the Tranny but as we took the Tcase apart we found that the Tcase selector "rooster comb" was no longer pressed onto the shaft and allowed the planetary to slip into Neutral. Thanks to K10abroinslo (David) and a weld bead later we got it back together and had no problems with it the rest of the day:D . I cant think of a better place to rebuild a Tcase than in the desert with the wind blowin about 20 mph:haha: . A big thanks to Brian and David for the help. Pics will be posted later of the wheelin action as I was driving and did not get any action photos:o . Oh ya there are 120 needle bearings (2 rows of 60) that go between the chain gear and the output shaft those are fun when the case is in the truck.:D

Hey Andy...you got a box that might fit Don's Blazer so he can get home?

Readymix needs a 2wd too for his Xover.

I will try to get some pics up today. My back is on fire after sitting under Ira's Blazer for 4 hours or so....then the 3 plus hour drive home.

I wish you could have come out. I saw some vidoes of your truck....
All I can say is SICK!!!!

Couldn't get a good view of the taper type job you did to the lower front fender area, but it looked very cool.

Well I only found about 5 that looked cool. The rest were......well......BrokeBack.

I will try to get them resized and uploaded

Here is how the day started for us. Ira kept a pretty steady pace too.....having the hood open regularly throughout the day:haha::haha:

Here we are playing on a little side trail. No one made it up but we all tried. Roz got all sideways on it and needed the winch to pull him back straight on the trail.

I even made an attempt at it, Crappy steering and all.

Then we had to fix Ira's steering again.

Roz took this line down a little ledge, I wish the picture did it justice. It was worse.
