Father-daughter 76 annihilator build

The gas tank filler piece looked good but when I sometimes am filling it a small amount would be spilling? All the other hose pieces are rotting and cracking and it looks as thou I will be doing body mounts also while i'm in this far it will be easier. Opening up a can of worms. This is all way over due.

I use it to build my stuff... it got heavy use for a couple yrs, now it's napping.... ;)

Does the Ouija board help? psycho roll cage from the otherside ?

If you are going to do body mounts, I recommend adding a 1" body lift while you're at it.

Man this is awesome! What a great time and so inspiring. And Gentle men... Really, What man; in his right mind would let his daughter have her own account around here... LMBO
seriously though this is a great place to learn from a great bunch of folks. Good Luck with this build cant wait to watch all the progress.
 
Body mounts after another look might be alright. Will post pictures to see what youall think. Found broken muffler pipe at rear exit of muffler and welded up today on the rig. Thin stuff so did it myself. Mounting new bilstein shocks with no idea of which are front and rear and what side goes up guess I will call ord. I'm guessing the holes in the rubber are for drainage and are to be down.

Daughter will just post with me using her name from now on, she is busy as she is senior and doing all sorts of college apps and etc.. For next year at PLNU going into their nursing program, dad couldn't be prouder. Son is a junior at Fort Collins ( Colorado State) civil engineering. Hunted out of glenwood springs as a family for the last 70 yrs, elk trips drop camping at the same place. Best family hunting trips, been going since I was 12 and got to go with my grandpa and some beautiful country, alot different then the sierras and deer hunting here. Colorado has really changed thru the years.
 
Found small gap in filler tube by water testing and just used bathroom sealant silicon to fill. Hopefully good for another 40 yrs.

long ones go in back and from the pics ive seen of the bilsteins the boots go down

Defintely. My 83 Jimmy has dual exhaust and they both flare out behind the tires. With the shackle flip and bigger tires (37") the exhaust is rubbing the tires. Pretty sure this won't work :rolleyes: I haven't cut it off yet as I don't know how I want to route it yet

So these plastic things didn't come with our kit but they were on the old front springs, wondering if we need them for each spring?

probably be fine without them :dunno: I put them back in my burb. but not in my old scout. never hurt anything in the scout

Yall are doing an awesome job on the blazer, it will be a very nice blazer when yall get done with it.

Were giving her a go but wont go much past lift, seats and paint for this year and then mattering on finances hopefully get a bender and do cage and bumpers by next year. Then next... this is kind of addictive, and been fun so far. Loved these rigs since I had my first in college, went everywhere with no top and my lab in the back, good times. Had three out of four of those plastic spring seperators left, and I knew this thing wasn't sitting level, I found broken front left spring upon disassembly.
 
thanks for the feedback will leave plastics out and just run it as the new tc ez-rides don't appear to have any between the springs either. next is brake lines and steering drop and brace.
