It looks splendid. I'm stuck in Britain right now, so I am carrying on with the local lingo. Splendid I tell you, splendid. It's not even dreadful. How much did them 44's set you back?

so what? do you hate everyone? or just can't stand seeing someone build something out of your junk?

i regret ever selling that truck. i thought i was going to sell it to someone who would finish it. its been nearly a year now, and it isnt really that much farther along then it was when i decided to sell it.

buy some damn SRW hubs already!

and yes, i think you're stupid for building it so big right off the bat. keep the GF out of it, or get a cage. no sense in killing an innocent person just because the rig is entirely too much machine for your driving ability.

ok jackass you know what i really dont know what you mean by it is not that much further along thanwhen you sold it to me.oh wait shall i list....

It has the one ton front ,44's Twin stick it actually runs has a motor and drivetrain in it gee i wonder what you mean by not that much further along than that hmm ....... ok so the rig is to much for me aye i have been around farm equipment my whole life i run skid steers track hoes , bulldozers with lots of beef and power but yeah the Ford 535 Tractor we had at the golf course i grew up on had bigger tires than the truck . how about if you want to flame me call me and do it , or if someone asks for positive imput you dont flame them for asking a question . what would you say all your wheeling experience came from ? if i recall you have had many 2x4's etc so how do you say you are that much better than me? also if my gf chooses to wheel with me it is her decision i don't wheel like an idiot and i wheel slow except in mud so if you wanna bash my rig then do it to me or to my face .and honestly how do you know what i can handle

and title will be transfered soon '

yeah i just think anyone cn get hurt in this hobby, but we all try to be careful , know the risks , and try to make things enjoyable and go well for our intrests and prefernces

:eek1: Beater_k20 You should really respect other members here, it is amazing that you are still on this site talking to people like that and saying crap about what they put hard work in to.

well if his rig is unsafe than mine is a real death trap..... oh and this is what it looked like before i put more money into it than i spent on the whole thing. oh and it is on 44's with only 7" of lift..... watch out!

Looking good so far. I say don't bother dovetailing it or putting on a body lift, and trim the bedsides the same way you trimmed the front fenders. You might want to move the front axle forward a little bit, too.
That and and some bumpstops and you should be fine. Looking good.

well i have worked there 4 months and my family owned a golf course growing up so up untill a year ago when the place was sold i grew up around , on , and wrenching on all our heavy equipment. also my dad is an operator , so its in my blood and always been around it . and i also did have a mildly built bronco , and did all my own wrenching and work on that body lift tires ,and all .Also I can Run A scraper did land moving for my dad's local union . I am hoping to get into the union a month or my interview for operator is this next month

well all i have to say is a built rig is now considered a suspension setup a 14 bolt a 10 bolt no motor or anything and,no front clip , not runnig i guess then you did " build it"

jayson, did you go from a stock rig on 33s, directly to 7" and 44s? i'd put money on the fact that you didnt, if you're like 99.99% of people, it progressed to that stage. as your driving skill improved, your truck grew. im sure you didnt just grow into your truck.

no i went from 4" and 35's on 1/2 ton stuff with a worn out 305to the same set up with a 400 and 35 thornbirds, then i went to a few 355's and 3/4 ton stuff and 39.5 boggers. than came the 44's and the 3" body lift, them were fallowed by the 461. now i'm going to a th 400+205 set up with the 60 replacing the 44. i am not seeing why it is a big deal thet he is going from 38.5's to 44's? it is not that much more than what i did, i went 39.5 to 44's;)

I went from mall crawling to 39.5's, if you know your limits I don't see the problem.

Disclaimer: Said poster might not, I really don't know.

he dropped a motor in it, bolted in the trans and transfer case, and put a 60 in place of the 10 bolt that was in it when he bought it. I built that truck, and i have seen and heard about everything he has owned, this is WAY bigger than anything he's ever had before.

obviously someone who has never driven anything but a stock rig shouldn't take a truck on 44 and go hardcore wheelin with it but i don't beleive this is the case i doubt he is going to do anything to extreem with it before he gets a feel for the truck and as far as being able to handle it if he can handle all the heavy equiptment he has driven and the other built rigs he has driven such as an excursion on 42s he should be able to handle his rig and i don't think you are in much of a position to judging phils driving ability in the first place
