Fender Cutting 44's

had to go back and check tha first page.. i almost forgot what this thread was about

I want to put in my .02 before this thread gets locked....

beater.... You SOLD the truck.... He can piss on it every day for the rest of his life is he sees fit to do so. And, if he's bothering you by calling you asking about shiat that YOU did to the truck, then tell him to stop. Go get some douche and wipe the sand out.

ProJunk.... Leave the dude alone. One time, I sold shiat to some kid, fully disclosing everything I knew about it, and he called my back up asking me stuff, and I politely told him I couldn't help, it's not in front of me anymore....(that means I blew him off). C'mon, man, get a freakin' Haynes manual, or a Chilton. As for the XJ idea, I've thought about going to a Jeep. Turn key. Reliable if you keep 'em small. Lots of parts available. But, haven't yet. However, it's doable. Here's a tip, though Phil: Finish one project first. Stick to it, Keep It Simple, Stupid. I speak from experience when I tell you that, if you keep changing your build plan, you'll never get out on the trail - YOU WILL GET BURNED OUT, FEEL PRESSURED FROM YOUR HOBBY, AND YOU'LL GIVE UP. Ask me how I know. Not to mention the lose of money. Added frustration. But most importantly, the lose of interest. We know you're young, and you're learning. Maybe you're a hard learner, and need to burn yourself on the stove a time or two before you learn that it's hot (just like me). That deal with the K2500 for the Dakota....I feel sorry for you. I love those trucks, and EVEN I wouldn't have taken that 3/4 ton if it was free. beater does have a point - we all advised against it. You went with your gut (I assume), and you learned a lesson. That's ok, man.

This thread needs to end - at least the crap needs to.

***off my high horse***

Oops.... Looks like I type too slow - didn't know we stopped talking about it. Damn, and I wanted to be a part of the problem!!:haha: :haha:
