You mean somthing like this. The only difference is this has a 4L80E

No I was thinking something more llike this:

It is a '91 & has the factory 4l80 also. I believe it is also in my driveway.

If that's a '90 then somebody has performed a lot of parts swapping. Just with a real quick glance the front grille/headlight assembly and steering wheel are all pre-'89 versions.

Somebody swapping the grille doesn't surprise me if the stock one was damaged, but somebody going to the trouble of swapping in a stock older model steering wheel?

All the 89-91 crews I have seen had that wheel. Mine is a '91 & it came with that same wheel.

I did swap it for this one though.

It's all about the options, my 91 crew cab (Cheyenne) had the 2 spoke wheel but my 91 K5 has the 4 spoke (Silverado).

I thought that too, but my '91 CC is a Silverado, & the P.O.'s are both known & claim they did not change it.

truck had a accident. a 91 clip was cheaper so he put that on. the old wheel was a tilt and very lose. he put this one in to replace it.

Assume you meant to type 81, not 91......but anyway that makes sense now.

Somebody else posted that the 2 spoke style wheel was still available. I did not realize that as all of the '89-'91 square body trucks I've seen had the newer 4 spoke deign, but the vast majority are Silverado Blazers and Subs....

My trucks twin in Red. :D The 1991 V3500, Crew Cab, 4x4, Silverado have to be one of the most desirable and rarest GM trucks around.

If mine had been that nice I would probably have kept it. How's the ol girl doin these days?

Yes, They are rare, I hunted for this one for over a year.

Doing good, All the clear coat has come off, I have been pricing getting it painted. It got hit by some a-hole in Springfield,IL so it needs a new drivers fender & grill. I put a new radiator in it last month. Other than that it is as good as ever.
