First Gen, all hardware no software

So I bought this '70 K5 and fell in the rabbit hole ever since. It was tired, a victim of someone's "perfume on a pig" restoration. Original 350/350.Paint is nice.
So I got a video scope from work to poke around the back of the valley and it appears to be around the tee I used for the oil pressure sender. Amazing how much oil you can lose there. Anyways I'm glad I don't have to pull the intake. And I can wash it now
How about the injection? Hows that working?

Really well actually kinda flawless. I think the sticking could still be tuned out a little better. I dlike to speed up the deceleration bc it kinda hangs high when coming to a stop. I also think it could use a little more accelerator pump in the fast. It still idles at 750 or so and I hate that. Target is set for 600 or so. Of course, it's stuff I want to do but still have to figure it out. Carb habits die hard

I’ve used fitech and msd Atomic.

Fitech has a ton more options, did you phase the dist and set the Fitech up to control timing?

The biggest issues I’ve had were usually timing related, and was usually something I overlooked, or didn’t have adjusted properly.

Fitech user manual is pretty terrible, they should spend more time explaining some of their options.

The msd atomic efi is too simple, i missed the adjustable fuel parameters of the Fitech.

It's hei for now so no timing control. A pro bullet is pretty expensive so it's gonna be like this for a while. It does have a lot of options and setting it takes time for test n tune which I don't have so I guess I can blame myself for a good bit of it

So I finally washed er after a few weeks bc my backs been out. Changed out a bunch of oil sending unit fittings but even wit a 45deg I couldn't get a wrench or crows foot on the sender to Tighten it so I gave it a good wrench on with my hand. Have to say after the all day romp in the woods the fitech has seemed to tune in nicely. I layed rubber most of the block off a rolling start I wish I had video. Still need to tune the deceleration speed faster and the idle still SUCKS! 1000rpm is not acceptable.

I have the other system and mine randomly idles high. Good half the time, runs good

It idles high every time. Turn the "screw" down n the butterflies stick shut... I'm at the bottom waiting on the Iac to learn but having doubts

Isn’t there a straight oil pressure fitting you can put in with a socket and still get a 45 on top of it?
Had a pita with a couple of those in my earlier years. Caused me to stop wrenching for about 25 years.
