First Gen, all hardware no software

So I bought this '70 K5 and fell in the rabbit hole ever since. It was tired, a victim of someone's "perfume on a pig" restoration. Original 350/350.Paint is nice.
Well here they are! UPS ate the effin box but they survived. They are rashes a little from a race or two but I gotta cut some corners sometimes to Level up :saweet:

So ADS 14" and 16", 2.5 bypasses and a set of 14" king coil carriers. For those who don't know coil carriers don't have valving or reservoirs for use with bypasses.

Plan is Deaver leafs out back with longer shackles still under tension.
Once I get that done I'll pull the soft ride 4" leafs off the front and run radius arms.

I have a friend working on a set of axle trusses for the d44 and 12 bolt rear. I'm only running 35" tires so they should be fine. I'm really not interested in d60/corp14 for weight and Scrub height but I do have them if I decide it's necessary. (probably not)

So putting the vinyl floor in around a cage is not for the weak and definitely not intended. It was a fist fight but I'm pretty happy. I got the new corbeau high backs that are wider in as well. The low backs wouldn't keep out heads off the cage and I'm a bit wide for the regular width seats

Interesting gas pedal. Is that a racing application?

Fml. Still chasing leaks! I probably need some dowdy washers on the bold hope the oil is just frome the 1/4-20 bolts in the 5/16 holes in the covers but I still see a lot of oil up top.
Put the HP oil spring back in the norosso blueprint oil pump so we'll see if it's just that. I may need to extend the driver side pcv breather too. It's still puking on the cover.

Possibly the new rings aren't set yet but this is obsurd. Also the hamburger pan still isntnt sealing at the timing cover

Some fuel cell upgrades today, also extended the driver breather and put yet another valve cover gasket on. Got some epdm roofing washers for the 1/4" cover bolts.
Using - 10an hose and fittings I put a race style check ball roll-over vent in the frame rail. I hope this helps this tank take fuel better as well. Also a proper 0-90ohm tube style sender. I've never known what my fuel level was.

My shackles n hangers for the rear showed up from Roberts custom trucks/RCT !!! Really impressive!
Now if I didn’t have a show in two weeks I’d have the rear dropped by now am be starting on some more holes in the bed floor! Patience.

Some parts on order, while I have the 12 bolt out I’m gonna do the disc swap and hard line it after I fab my own truss. Now I know this is a source of many heated debates but after weighing my options against many other real world experiences of others I’m sticking with the 12 bolt. It’s already got strange engineering axles and eventually I’ll pull the loc-rite and put a Detroit in it.
It’s arguably almost as strong as a 9” and pound for pound it’s just not worth going with a sf 14. I have an aam 14bolt and a 14bolt corp that I can swap in if this doesn’t work out. I really don’t want the unsprung weight or loss of scrub height since I’m running 35” generals
I’ll also be locating the four tube bypasses to the leaf plates so I can swap an axle in that much easier. This however may cause some “packaging” issues as the 12 bolt is really narrow and I’m already running 1.5” spacers against my will. Oh well the wheel tubs are coming out and possibly most of the floor. Because race truck
