Looks like you need a front pump seal and bushing too.

Your probably right, but it's not leaking out the front yet and I don't want to take everything completely out yet, So I'm gonna slap the new flywheel in and bolt everything back together and see how it goes. It's leaking around the pan so I'll replace that gasket while I'm down there.

The spot's in the picture are rain.

The scary thing is that I had driven back from California on this thing /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I put one in a friends Caddy we drove home from a car show in Carlisle PA,clicking and clacking all the way to my shop 40 miles south of boston--when I removed the inspection cover,I pried gently on the flexplate with a pry bar to turn the motor over so I could unscrew the bolts to the converter--it fell out before I got the third bolt out! /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif.It was completely separated, just like the one in your picture--I couldnt beleive we made it home with that flexplate!--it didnt sound THAT bad,or we would have towed it home--guess we were very lucky!. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif
