Flyin Rat Garage

Is the plan to paint the trim on the other buildings the same shade of. Blue to tie it all together?
That's the only thing to me is it looks "out of place"

Other than that I love it.

Appreciate the comments and I agree it is a bit out of sync with the existing buildings.
I have enough metal to give the "shop" on the left a frontside facelift sometime in the future. Then it will match the pole barn. When that will happen is down the to do list a ways!
Today's temp is 17*....inside the barn is 37*
Time to turn on a couple candles!

That shows you how well that insulation is working. My shop was at 18, outside was 12 yesterday. Took an hour to get to 51, with both heaters on. I need more insulation.

overdue for an update...lights, heat, and ceiling fans all in place. Circuits run for A/C, overhead portable bench outlet (that green retractable cord hanging down in the middle of the room), 2 post lift, and storage room lights and outlets.
Walls are studded out for OSB sheathing, and exterior lighting and receptacles in place and powered up.

the lighting is 6-4' fixtures w/ 2 LED's in each...lights it up really good!
One of the fixtures is this....

LED lights are great, but the built in speaker is kinda lame...it'll be going back to Homo Depot for somthing more powerful....anybody got some ideas for a decent bluetooth system that'll power the garage up?

What kind of money do you want to spend on the bluetooth system, and how much sound/volume do you want? I got a Bose portable speaker for Christmas a couple of years ago and I use that all the time around the house as well as when we travel. The portability is handy, and puts out more sound than you would expect. It won't blow you away in terms of volume in a large area, but you can actually fill a large space with enough sound to be able to enjoy it. Plus, the bluetooth works pretty well in terms of how fast it syncs with my phone and how far away you can get from it without loosing the connection between the phone and speaker.

Another option would be something like a sound bar that has blue tooth built in. I got a Klipsch R-20B this Christmas and it puts out decent sound quality, and it gets plenty loud. It has a wireless subwoofer too. All you would need is a power outlet to plug in the sub and bar. I'm not terribly impressed with the bluetooth connectivity though. My phone typically needs to be within 10-15 feet of the bar to keep from having spotty connection. It was on sale for $399 with free shipping from Crutchfield.

I use something like this:

Then you can use your phone or whatever to play music over any stereo system you want. If you've already got something that you can use, but it just doesn't have bluetooth, this works great for that. I use an old home receiver that I had laying around with a bluetooth adapter. I get great sound and can now play it from my phone.

Got this s couple years ago but it didn't have a power cord so I never used it....should be able to find one,

That Bluetooth adapter is neat but I just have a laptop in the shop hooked up to the stereo. Then I can stream football and hockey games for the exciting parts.
