No metal in the oil pan. It’s a 4bm but it’s also an 010 casting number. Won’t know if its a 400 crank until I flip it over tomorrow. Calling it a night.

I like flat black, it shows oil stains less than the orange it appears your old block was already painted. Just more to ponder...
