Foose

yeah, I'm not saying turning muscle into a windy track car can't be done.. heck, my blue 69 chevelle handled awesome.. I'm just saying that that does not automatically mean you have to have no sidewall on your tires...

take me out back and put one in my cranium if that ever happens... :haha:

actually I always kinda liked SuperTrapps... :doah: :pimp:

Never considered a Camaro to be a muscle car...

Sub frames and uni bodys don't do super with drag strip power

Since we're pretty well derailed from the Foose subject at the moment.. I thought I'd submit this for your consideration..

I nearly have to change my pants everytime I watch this at 0:50 when that 468 gets it a little loose. ahhhahhahhhahhhgod.. I need a cigarette. :)

I just think it's amazing that people are building cars [and trucks ;) ] that are useable and fun to drive these days. There are less trailer queens and more people flogging the **** out of their cars that are also capable of driving cross country in comfort. It really is a whole new era of hot rodding in my opinion.

same could be said for a Nova.... ;)

seen plenty of twisted up Maro's and Nova's back in the day from BB's... one of the reasons I never built any..

well, that and most Camaro's where chick cars... :ignore:

Yoooouuuuuu Bastard ( Chris Farly voice there)

I grew up to late to really have true muscle cars, but I have always loved Camaros, more specifically the ones that are closer to when I went to high school. So 88-92 or any other of that body style with the 92 body kit on em.

Love me.

Remember its Bitchin Camaro, not bitches camaro :D

Yea I forget which camaros and Novas share sub frames but they are basically the same car underneath. The best car I've ever had was a 74 nova sedan with a 3 on the tree 250 and 36000 original miles. It was 70s brown. I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. I just don't think they are the right cars to make into that blue chevelle you had. Love the stripes btw.

thanks, I thought it was a neat design... :D

and Eric, I was mainly referring to the fact they had the Berlinetta in the 70's.... :haha:

I had some buddies with NASTY BB early 70's Nova's, and a few Maro's too...

But goin quick/fast in a hopefully straight line can get boring...

I never get tired of getting thrown back into the seat and feeling that acceleration.....in fact...I'll admit it...getting sideways kind of scares me...I like straight ahead g-force...

I had 2 79's................................................................. Both berlinetta's:doah::haha: Loved them both. 1 had a 455 pontiac in it. I'd love to build a 70 1/2-73 But I cant decide if I would want a prostreet or a low/wide canyon carving machine.

I agree.........getting very sideways at all above 100mph, can be kinda scary

yeah im not to crazy on foose builds either, you seen one you just about seen them all imo.

i prefer old muscle look to his style.

I been watching Velocity all day again...back is out again...Overhaulin' Marathon...

I gotta ease up a bit on my stance...I loved what they did to an old Firebird...except the wheels...I just think old cars should have hubcaps...

And they did a 54 Chevy Pickup and I liked the wheels on it and they did it as close to stock as anything Chip will do.

If it is so easy to make one 0ff wheels out of a billet...then why isn't it that easy to reproduce old hubcaps and wheels perfectly?

There was one episode I saw they did factory reproduction wheels but went up to 17 or 18"

they've been running old episodes of Boyd's American Hotrod lately....

2 of the car's I liked that they did where the all stainless coupe and the caged 63 vette..

Muscle car built for corners back in 69...

I watch that show too...and I didn't know he was dead until last week....I've watched a lot of those shows...when the old body guy died...I had no idea Boyd had died in 2008?

One of the things that strikes me is how easy they make the blocking look....

yeah, he died of surgery complications from his diabetes... and yeah, Roy.. he reminded me of the ole guy Wes I used to work with...

it was a decent show compared to all the ones out now, except Muscle Car, which I don't even think is on anymore on Powerblock..

What do you think of Graveyard Cars? I think all he restores is Mopar...
