Fox IFP air bumps...

I run 5 inches of up travel before mine even hit. So no noise under normal use. And when I need them, that is the last thing I am worried about.

My fronts are about 2.5" before they hit and rears are just under 2".

I need more up travel :D

These are pretty cool eager to read some reviews

Did anyone else notice the bump stteer in the whoops?:haha:

We will find out soon enough if I managed to build a 4 link when I was told I couldn't even get leaf springs to work.:D

Me too. If I were to set up 2" air bumps on the front of my truck is have 2.5" of uptravel before hitting them. The rear would probably be better. I want more. Just like swapping in an LS motor has made me hungry for even more power, ORD springs have made me hungry for even more suspension.

Do I get to be in this group? You think you need more uptravel. Man I Definately need more up

Yes you were one of the few in my head as I typed that :D

After hitting some fairly large whoops at speed and knowing I was basically floating on top rather than hitting the whole things, yeah I wish I had some more....

It felt good, but you could feel the thing was really working hard to stay on top.

Not the feeling like in Brett's buggy where it just doesn't care what you point it at... But then again that thing has like 9" of static uptravel and coils.... So maybe it's just how leaf springs feel?

I have tons of room in the rear to add more up travel. I have 2.25" spacers between the cans and bumps back there (built the suspension planning on running more uptravel later). I set the ford leaf spring just barely past flat so they are just kinda going neg arch. I wanna see if that kills them fast or not. If so I'll prolly give up on those and either get some fancy springs or say fock it and do trailing arms and coils (what I should have done for how much work I have into everything back there lol.)

But if the ford springs do take a summer of beating and don't look funky, I will probably shorten those spacers a little bit more and see how they handle another inch of uptravel.....
It's a time game there though.

There's lots of cool benefits also with the ifp you can have a much higher impact force before they cavitate.

This is the next item on my list of upgrades.. I kinda wonder if it's gonna need it.. Rear might need more help first.. Cool otherwise, fox is always pushing boundaries. Cool!
