from Diesel to Ls swap on my M1008

So today was supposed to be an easy work day on the truck. Well I have 6 bad freeze plugs a leaky rear main and bad oil cooler lines and a Bad IP. so Im pulling the front clip and the motor tomorrow, ill install new oil cooler lines, install a external oil cooler, transmission cooler, deep transmission pan, service the transmission, New IP, rear main seal, freeze plugs, starter and other odds and ends.

this M1009 showed up for emotional support

They are pretty pricy. I bought a rebuilt pump on sale for 400.

Got the front clip pulled off, I have to order parts and then pull the transfercase, transmission and engine.

We have rollers for it. But good idea.

might as well do a complete re-seal job on the engine Heads, Pans, Seals, Freeze Plugs, and Exhaust Gaskets. I had to remove the radiator support to do an engine R&R on my truck too because it was lifted so high, but I left the fenders on.

We are not taking off the heads but everything else is getting resealed.

Not 100% the 6.5 is dead. So it will be converted over to the 6.2. I wil be going with 6.5 head gaskets to help with boost.
