from Diesel to Ls swap on my M1008

Bummer man.. Well if you decide to not use the turbo setup lemme know I might be able to scrape cash together for it..
 
Well I have done a complete 180. I will be\ going BBC since my 6.2 was cracked and i really dont want to deal with it any more, I found a 402 motor I am going to rebuild with a set of closed chamber early 396/427 heads.

Do I need to change my cross member from diesel to BBC?
Besides my governor on my TH400 what else do I need to change in the transmission to go with my motor?
No issues with my hydro boost correct? also can I use my 6.2 power steering pump with my motor or do I need a different one?
 
Pump should be fine, hydro boost won't care what engine you run. You'll prolly want a higher stall torque converter. Not sure about the crossmember.

But you definitely want to gift me the serpentine setup. :thumb:
 
Well, this went semi rebuild. I needed up putting a 5.3LM7 and 4l80W np241 Transfercase in my truck then it sat for a few years, projects seem to take forever. I now have an lq9 I want to replace the 5.3 with eventually. I plan to replace the interior with new/used good condition parts and new seat covers. All-new cab rubber to seal it up. I need to replace the fuel pump and replace my clutch fan with my Efans and a few ods and ends then brakes and it should be back on the road.
