Front Winch Bumper K5 & Chevy Pickup/Suburban

We have built a bumper with a prerunner look that fits the 81-91 K5/Suburban & 81-87 Pickup. We haven't tried it on the 80 and back yet, but will be checking those soon.

Let us know what your thoughts are on it.

The bumper is 2" and 1-1/4" O.D. x .120 wall DOM tubular framework with 1/8" plate between the tubes thus giving this bumper the traditional look with a bit of the pre-runner flair. The bumper fits high and tight for maximum approach angle clearance and comes equipped with D-ring loops and two light tabs. The winch of choice for this bumper is the Superwinch EP9. Other winch types and styles may fit.

Any protection for the lights?

Not sure what you had in mind. But because the lights are mounted so high, we didn't consider them being vulnerable on most trails and so far they have not been. We could always drill two holes in the plates to fit smaller lights if someone had a concern about it. Also, the lights we have on it now are 8" lights.

Is there an option to get it without the pre-runner hoops? I like the look of the flat traditional bumper. Most front bumpers these days look like some kind of Titanic anchor.

Oh yea, we can build it without the prerunner bars. Did you want light mounts? We try and leave some of our custom stuff somewhat flexible so we can change some of the look for everyones taste.

K5 Cage

Saw you had a cage on your site for K5s. What does that run?

We are changing the cage just a bit. We made that one when we went to Blazer Bash last year and it has a few things that need to be changed. Once we get the final changes done I will post a thread regarding the cost and changes.
