Fuel filler hose?

Extend your end that has the gas cap with metal tubing and then your hose won't be to short.

Just take it off the vehicle to weld it up.:thumb:

This I have also just put a peice of tube in the hose never had an issue

Thats the rustiest (is that a word?) fuel filler neck I've ever seen. Did you get that off the a horseless carriage?:D

Hey meow!! You come up to the Michigan, and you will see many a rusty auto part....

You would love how our brake lines look...

Oh and Jess, nice job on that, why did you cut it in the first place though?? I took mine off yesterday (was rustier lookin than that...) and sprayed some penetrating oil on the edge of the rubber, waited a few min, and it slid right off.....

My 1985 is 1.75 inch (not sure if it makes a difference, mine was Diesel with large tank not factory 25 gal)

Replaced mine last year got it from RockAuto.

I bought a Gates 24074 1-3/4" X 18" and I cut it to fit. $19.26 ..

The Vent Hose I had to have was 5/8" as mentioned earlier in the post.
