Geronimo: 1959 Chevy Apache

1959 Chevy Apache long bed Fleetside with some modern stuff inside. Built for long trips
What kind of wood? I have an inventory of rough sawn stuff I would cut you a decent deal on it your willing to work it into the final dimensions.
I haven't really thought much about it honestly. I'm not going real fancy or anything with the wood floor since most of it wont be seen once in running the bed topper. Which I have a lead on another that is supposedly in better shape than the one I already have. Going to pick up this topper in a few weeks after the guy gets the truck driveable and back to his house. Best part, it's free and it will only be about 45 minutes to get it.

Only picture I have:

In that's the case, the pine bed kit from LMC is decent. I used it in my 79 and really couldn't complain.
I am sure they make one for your truck.
A nice color stain makes all the difference In The world.

I’m here for the donuts

So the age old problem on these vintage vehicles: gonna get enough surface area on the radiator to be able to keep it cool enough?
I hope the electric fans will do the trick.

This is advertised as an "LS swap radiator" so it should be ok

The guy even has two finned radiator caps....

Is that one of those dual pass radiators?

Not a lot to update. Just working on small things here and there. I wasn't happy with the LMC hood hinges, they kinda suck. I finally decided to drop the $$ on some Eddie Motorsports hinges. Those should be here end of the week.

Yesterday I picked up the bed topper. Good thing it was free lol. It looked better in the pictures. Oh well. Hopefully I can now make one good one from the 2 I have.

Where did you have to go to drag that beaut home?

Latest update. Havent touched the truck much at all lately this summer.

I got a set of Eddie Motorsports hood hinges I started working on.

And then I got sucked into painting projects.

I made this Homer Simpson and painted it for a charity art auction. My friend outlined it all with his pin striping brush. It sold for $400

Then I got sucked into painting drink tumblers. Did this one for my girlfriend.

And I just did these 4. Sold 2 of them at the car show last weekend and possibly have a 3rd sold to a friend.

So that's it for now. Think I'll work on the truck later this week.
