Going rate for a GM front Dana 60?

I paid 600 for my round pattern a few months ago. Only one I've seen available all year. I sold it to the guy several years ago for 300.

Round pattern VSS equipped 205s are worth a huge and extremely unreasonable amount. Especially considering you can install your own VSS with a grinder and a hand drill with some patience.

People can have a warped sense of value on things. I have a crashed 1985 K30 Dually with a 454, T400/205, Dana-60 front, and a Dana-70 rear. People will not even pay me $1000 for the whole thing, but if I took out the front Dana-60 and listed for $1000 they would buy it.
Well...yeah! I'm one of those. If I want a D60, I'd rather buy the D60, then have it come with basically a bunch of scrap I have to cut up and get rid of. For some of us, other parts that may come with it are not needed or worth the hassle, if that makes sense.

I would say 500 is right in the middle of the pricing of these front ends, i am also curious what would a np205 be worth as i have a 1991 crewcab squarebody as its mated to a 4l80e and is solid axle

A 4L80E/205 combo is very rare. They where only available for one year (1991). You should be able to get a decent amount of money for that.

I sold a matching set of 4:10 SRW axles out of my well worn '79 K30 for $1000 last year. I sold a set of 4:56 SRW axles, with poor condition lock-outs, for $900 to a buddy.

I sat on a round pattern 205 that needed new bearings for a couple of years. I finally got $150 for it.
