"Goober's Garage" K20 Build

so after some talking with my dad about the paint scheme and his opinion. we decided on black and that olive drab green. no cat yellow, itd stand out more than id like, i think. so tomorrow its off to find some paint! then eventually were going to do an "earl shieb" (one day) paint job of olive drab green on the body....im pumped! i forget his user name but theres a K30 from sweden(?) on here that just looks sweet with the green and body damage. idk why but i just have always like'd that truck and it has stuck in my mind.

order from Kurt arrived and holy chit they got some beef to them, the cross tied shackles are almost ridiculous when compared to the stock ones :eek1: i popped my bushings in the hangers and am now waiting for the etch primer to dry, then primer, then the green top coat. finished the rear diff cover as well. it almost looks to good to put on :thumb:

thats the plan. the paint for the truck wont be from the same company and what not, so it may vary a little but im shooting for that army OD green.

I love the Army OD green look. I say do it!

I love this rig... I'll probably do something like this once I beat mine up.

Not sure, but i'd like to know. I found it on Google a while back and fell in love.

just waiting on some funds to get new seals, oil and get drums turned for the rear axle and its done. pulled the frame off the axle/springs to make it easier to paint and fix a few things, (body mount holes and grind off the remains of the bumper bracket that was welded onto the bottom of the frame). Cut some c channel to box in the rear of the frame, it was all f*cked from the PO torching that bumper off. i figure it will strengthen it and clean it up a bit too. i had to notch it so the bed bolts would go through still. its all welded up now im going to get some more pics today.
