Good deal?

How often do you get to buy a truck that you know the history on it?

Buy it!!!

exactly... 1 owner that you know well, doesn't happen too often.... i've seen the rig daily for like 15 yrs now, lol...

that'd pay for Mutt's new fuel tank easily, but i feel like i'd really be kicking myself if i don't pick this up..

i'll also just do a payment thing out of my check over 6 months, so i won't notice it much........

thanks for all the Furd info boys! :)

One thing I did not like with these I think it has 7 lug wheels?

So, you're asking if a pretty clean 3/4 ton diesel truck is worth 2200$.... uh yeah. Round here they'd be double that. But AZ is expensive for trucks.

Those 7 lug rims and the 7 lug wheelcovers always reminded me of Fords better ideas...
Like the metric sized wheels on the 80’s Cougar...it was like a 14-1/2” rim...good luck finding tires for those POS’s.
Ive always felt Ford builds a pretty good truck, much more than Dodge, and some years better than GM, and more than a couple people have said that 7.3 is a better engine than the next two P.S.’s. I tend to agree.

So you think these are just the wheel covers?
Because they are 7 lug.

that 7 lug is part of the whole thing I dont like about ford... they make all of this 1-off stuff so that people have to go to ford for replcement parts. How many people carry a 7 lug wheel. Was reading that in some years the f150 has a different brake pad for each level of trim, so an auto parts store has to carry like 5 different pads instead of 1 or 2..

I do think the new 2nd gen 3.5eb F150 with the 10spd is a good truck though.

Ever drive an Ecoboost?

You would probably think differently.....

My friend thought he was going nuts (no pun intended) after he worked on the first Ford pickup at his tire shop that had 7 lug wheels..he thought he lost one of the lug nuts ,then realized there was no 8th std !..:screwy:

I see they sell adapters to put 8 lug rims on the 7 lug hubs for about $140 a pair...not sure how common or expensive used OEM 7 lug rims are around here,I suppose salvage yards don't give them away cheap like others that are common..

Another friend I know has a 2017 F-150 with the Ecoboost V6,he loves it--tows a car trailer with it often but not with a car on it,mostly he uses it to haul lighter loads..he claims it has plenty of power--but I cant help but think that engine is being over worked a lot and it'll not have a long life span..

They are hub centric wheels also on top of being 7lug. Lol.
My dad has a19 f150 eco boost he loves it , there’s an ass for every seat so they say.

can't even get 2003 6 lug 16" oem steel wheels outta ford any more, got truck at work, with corroded wheels, spent to much time on the Owens dry lake bed.

wait, nobody makes an aftermarket 7 lug rim for these? i'm looking at summit steelie stuff, basic D-windows, etc and all are coming up 8 x 6.5... no 7 lug... that's fugged up...

I'd prolly just pull the hubcaps and run repainted, whatever the steelie looks like..
