Grade 5 will get the job done. Grade 2 would probably work, but wouldn't be my preference. You could always use them for now and switch out later. But yeah, 32 of them is a lot.

i used grade 5 and the "nylon" junk nuts... and have beat the dog **** out of 'em... no probs, and if i had the grade 2s, i would run em... they are only getting 15ft-lbs of torque... and james, you may think, ah no big deal, 15ft-lbs... heck, how hard can that be... until you tighten 132 f'in bolts 5 TIMES!!!!! i recruted some unsuspecting friends... HAHAHAHA, suckers!!!

Well, I guess I can use the nylon nuts he sent me at least. As far as the bolts go, looks like they're 2 inches long with only 1 inch being threaded.. I'm not sure if they're gonna work or not....

So what kinda washers do I need to get, flat washers for lock washers? I guess I just need washers under the bolt heads, right?

Oh yeah? Well a million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days, Virtucon alone makes over nine billion dollars a year.

twas 100 millions dollars;)

2 inch bolts should be about right. are the rings 3/8 thick? if so 3/8 + 3/8 + 7/8 for tire leaves you 3/8" for the nut and washers.

I also got some freinds to help me. Although my rings are wider and probalby cone alot more than yours will I would use grade 8 washers, my washers are pretty hammered and kind of coned around the bolt. BTW I use grade 5 on mine.

Well actually I was quoting the movie verbatim. Even though you said one hundred million, I was quoting number two, so I had to stick with a million. Dr. Evil's first demand was one million dollars, then No. 2 said it wasn't a lot of money these days, so then he asked for one hundred billion dollars. There was never a value of "one hundred million" stated.;)

Sounds about right to me. If your rings are 1/4", it might still work, but would be close. 3/8" and you're safe.

Hardware required is 3/8" grade 8 bolts, ranging from 1.25" long to 1.75" long. We strongly recommend 3/8" steel pinch lock nuts. Of course washers should also be used.
Looks like your bolts may be a tad longish if your beadlocks are made similar to Kurt's. The 7/8" for the tire bead was a rough estimate that included all the flimsy rubber at the inside edge. I'm sure with something clamped down on them, they'll compress a bit, possibly down to a 1/2" or so. But even if your bead is 1/2", each ring is 1/4", and the washers are 1/32", thats still 1-1/16" allowable threadless shank, and you say you have 1", so it all should work fine. Just run the numbers yourself and see what you have to work with.

they are 1/4" thick. If the bolts were threaded all the way up, I'd use them, but they're not.

I think I'll try to find some 1.75" long 3/8 grade 5 bolts threaded all the way to the head. I guess I'll go ahead and use the 100 nylon locknuts I got in the kit, that way I'll just have to buy 28 more nylon locknuts.

Don't fret about threads that go all the way to the head. Just figure out how much shank your setup allows. If your bolts have less than that, you're golden.
