Got any cool tools lately?

when I was robbed they took a Craftsman 1/4 drive set I had for years as well as a Stanley set I got at WalMart years ago. so I was on Amazon the other day and saw a set and ordered it. not a name brand but I figure I am not tearing axles and suspension apart with it.

My wife is a teacher and retiring as of June so she gave me 2 carts from her classroom. :pimp: The cart on the left just has flat shelves so I want to use it for my little welder and plasma cutter but I’ll need to extend the bottom to hold the bottle.

My father took a cart like that decades ago and cut a "D" notch in the top two shelves for the bottle. It just has to be deep enough the cart won't tip over.

Great idea, I’ll see it’ll fit like that. :thumb:

He did it on one end, it's more stable that direction and leaves more room for the welder. You may need to weld or bolt in a cross brace just inside the notch, depends on how solid it feels when you are done.

Been looking for a compressor since I moved into my house (almost 3 years now) and a coworker of mine knew it. He found this in front of his neighbors house... Its a Wayne from 1944. Plugged it in, fires right up. Head gasket was leaking, made a new one out of some gasket paper and all good, builds pressure and the pressure switch works even!

Can't believe it. Thing is super quiet too.

I bought these yesterday. Kind of a tool.
Going to use them to talk truck to truck wheeling around here, and so my buddy and me can talk to each other when using the man basket on the skid loader forks.

Had a couple spring eye bolts giving me fits, so I decided it was time for one of these.
7" with rotating handle.
The only biatch I got is they put a big metal ring on there for cutoff wheels and it makes you only get about an inch of cut depth. Kind of kills the point in having a bigger cutoff wheel I think. But it worked for my need anyway.

Ummm.... grinder guards aren't for real men.
Only for yuppies, bud light drinkers and women and children....
