2 inch came in the truck, but body bushings are worn out
One fell off

I ask because that may be a good thing in this case. At least the bolts have all been removed and replaced already. Carriage bolts in the back were tack welded and would have had to be cut and likely replaced with regular hex bolts during the body lift. Point is, it'll probably be easier than if all stock.

Well i tried to see if they would all lossen and sprayed rust release from wd-40
and one will have to be cut out ,maybe if i soak it for a few days it will let loose

50/50 acetone and ATF. Spray once a day for a few days. wd-40 is a decent lubricant, but not much of a rust penetrant. PB Blaster is better, but the acetone/ATF treatment is best IMO. There was a thread on here about rust penetrants. Someone mentioned the acetone/atf mix so I tried it. I'm a believer now.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you order them from? Are they rubber or poly-sump-thin-or-nother? I need to replace my soon, but I want to go back with stock height.

this is the new stuff from wd-40, so far works pretty good. my bushings are so bad i can take the straw and spay up in the bolt.

Got the same things in the mail the other day from ORD. Ordered through them because I wanted all new bolts and those didnt come with the kit elsewhere.

Question... Do you have to drop the gas tank to install those back body mounts? God, I hope not. :doah:

dont now i hope not either, tell you after i put them in but at this rate it will be a while.
having knee surgery on the 13 th so i dont think ill get to them till march.

I prefer the rubber body mount kit from LMC. Comes with ALL of the hardware. Maybe if you don't have the rust issues we have here, that isn't as big of a deal.

I would also recommend swapping out your 2" body lift for a 1", but that's just me.

Are the LMC rubber body mounts made in China? I've had Chinese rubber seals dry rot in less than a years time, and I don't want to go through that again.

I have no idea, but I would imagine. I'll have to look at the ones under my 1988 V10 Suburban and see how they are holding up.

The lift puck measures an 1" 1\2 and im not replacing it. Dont want to spend 100 bucks
