Hi guys
...you cannot imagine how hard it is to get a good rig over here in Central Europe, Switzerland...hardly no Chevy C/K series around and lots of laws to go onto the street, but well, time has come and here it is.

Please tell me what you think of it, as I am quite now to the subject and not an expert, but I guess it was a great buy, the condition of the rig is awesome...and sorry if my English is not as well as yours.

more to come

91' K10 Blazer, 350 TBI, 125'000km, paid 7'000.- USD, perfect condition.
Runs perfectly, but it's not loud enough, still looking for some options.

Sweet lookin ride...very clean...as for exhaust i would go hedders, true 2.5 inch duals, spintech or flowmaster mufflers

Nice clean looking truck you have there. Especially underneath, no evidence of any leaking which is always a good thing.

Well, problem is the law here, no loud pipes, or police stops you immediately, I'm not even allowed to drive around with those tires, as they're too wide, but hey, I don't give a f*...

Thanks guys, I appreciate! I heard you have things like "cherry bombs" in the States for the sound? I guess i'm just gonna open the back end muffler, get out all the crap in it and close it again....then i might get more sound to it and still in the legal area.

As you can imagine, this ride is very unusual here, so everybody looks at you, especially the cops...but as I work at a Car Dealer, i can put on a Dealer plate and ride around as I want! good idea....no costs for insurance or numberplates whatsoever.

well you can always get some fender flares right?
thats a really clean rig you got. nice find!

yep I could, but for me fender flares is a no go, it just doesn't look right to me...

sweet find over there. and the price isnt unreasonable given the rarity from what i understand.

for the exhaust, i would go with flowmasters on headers and 2.5in pipe. IMHO flowmasters offer a great mellow tone at low rpm and throttle for just cruising around, but gets nice and loud when you stomp on the skinny pedal.

you could also look into mechanical, or electronic cutouts in the exhuast, like "lake pipes" from back in the 50's.

Truck looks great! And well cared for! And for future reference, it's known as a K5 Blazer here in the states. K10 was designated for 1/2 ton pick up trucks.

Nice truck, and english is not our native language either. :)

Very nice K5. So how did you finally find it over there, if your not suppose to drive something like that ?

Very nice truck. Do yourself a favor and never sell it. You'll regret it.

Cherry bombs, eh... they sound alright. I'm not a huge fan even though I have them on on of my k5's. Go with some good ol flowmasters.

Going to step out of line here and say get some Magnaflows. Straight through, good sound, and stainless steel for what Slowmasters cost.

Dig the Blazer. Check the T-case for fluid as I haven't seen one of that vintage without ATF all over it.:wink1:

Any history on it? Where/when it was imported and all that. I know Austria passed some laws that basically said old vehicles were verboten but how's Switzerland's vehicle laws in regards to something like this?
