Papa is fixing up grandpa’s ole Blazer

Looked up online fabricated it from a shock bushing sleeve. Just trimmed it down a bunch…looks like you found it
How deep into balancer does crank shaft go? I know it’s held on by large bolt and washer. I am about 1/4” off the timing chain cover.. this was reached using torque spec.

Rebuild original is about 375$ parts and paint.

Supposed to be direct fit.
Any input or known solutions to buy replacement column? Keeping it on the road build. Just don’t want crap or something that will break easily.

looks like its for a car and not a truck? Plug is on top of the column and not below it like it is on a truck. gear shifter is in the way of factory that's in the dash. ( I'm probably wrong about everything, I usually am) you ad a key to it and it goes up to 450$.
