Great names for hillbilly trucks...

My daughter named mine B.U.B.B.A. It stands for Big Ugly Blazer Bouncing Around. My kids love my K5, but they used to say it was ugly because of the desert tan paint job I started on the tailgate and never finished which has since been painted back to black. :D :D

my k5 was named GREEN WITH ENVY. years ago when i got in to this i had a jeep xj, i always wanted to go with the big boys but i had a jeep so i was struck with a bit of envy. that is why it is named green with envy.

Gotta put your name on the side of it! LOL That is a tough looking truck...I like how the front fenders are trimmed. Just mean looking! I have actually considered narrowing the stock nose of my truck and putting old Jeep truck style fenders over the tires to give it a distinctive look too! Right now it is just a chopped up turd with a cool name!

"The YED" for yellow and red 72 K20 truck. Now it's called "old yeller" since we painted it school bus yellow about 10 years ago.
 
a buddy of mine has called my 'burb "The Oldsmoburban" for a year or so now... he's been tryin to get me to do that 455 swap since he found out I had the stupid engine...

maybe by new years it'll live up to it's name
 
a friend from england started callin my ride Garreth...for some reason it just seemed to fit. besides, i felt sorry for him cause it was his first ride EVER in a k5 and his childhood dream...apparently there is a shortage of chevys on the island. so if anyone wants to make a few bucks..ship your truck over there and sell it for a KILLING!!
 
my mom calls mine the beast, some girl in a zr2 at the mall called it hideous (and i pulled her out of a bean field three hours later). it's also been called High Class White Trash, Dark Meat, Monster Blaze, and it will be rebuilt with Caddy' trim as the "Escablaze" my yellow 54 chevy is named Herschel or Banana Truck
 
I have a 1972 C-20 beater truck that does landscaping chores and is the resident loaner truck of the neighborhood. We call it the “The Mexican ”. My wife coined the name based from the movie by the same name. Believe me….the old terd is almost invisible in traffic here in Pueblo, CO. You would think almost everybody has one like it around here.....and they do! :haha: :haha:
 
Fat Girl

I call mine fat girl. I go wheelin' with jeeps mostly and I heard them start bitchin' about weight one trip. One dude said "I am at 5200 lbs can you believe that." I told them how much my truck weighed , 7200 full of fuel and ready to go wheelin' and after that they couldn't believe I made it up stuff. I told them fat girls need love to and so it stuck.

It might be time to take her to Jenny Craig though :weld: :hack: :grind:

Unfortunately I still have to buy the cucv :doah: :haha:

I was looking at one on the autotrader, called it Blue Bastard because it was rusty and needed some TLC.

What a good name for a CUCV? Something funny to go with the camo paint job

UAV is already taken, belongs to ColoradoK5 i do believe. :whistle:
 
Actually I think Urban Assault Vehicle came from the movie "Stripes" (Bill Murray, John Candy). The EM-50 was "one heavily armed RV". :D
