Griff's thread about nothing in particular.

Well don't worry about jinxing this one, I've been doing plenty of that all day today. With any luck it'll burn to the ground while I'm typing this.

Seeing as how it's purple, not a color that would really jive with my previous plans, I'm kind of wanting to go full 80's on it. Chrome spoke wheels, fiberglass visor, fiberglass back of cab thing, or a big chrome triple roll bar, 4 shocks per wheel, that kind of stuff.

The purple truck is still on the table, But I found this truck and felt that it would be a crime not to share it on here.

79 GMC Sierra Grande K10, 350, 465, 78,000 miles, only rust on it is behind the rear axle, original owner and has been garaged since new. Everything that's been done to the truck has been done at the dealership, He's got paperwork showing the rear axle was replaced under warranty in 1981, and clutch and throw out bearing replaced in 1990, and oil changes up to this January.

He's asking $2200 or trade for a decent 4wd 4-wheeler.

Does anyone want to buy my Blazer for $2200? Or just feel generous?

Still has the original Quadrajet and working cruise. Has factory AC but he says the clutch locked up in 97, and he never bothered to fix it. Says be bought the camper shell 4 hours after he bought the truck, and it's been on it since.

I'm really kicking myself for selling a 03 Honda Foreman 450 I got rid of around Christmas time.

Well, after a lengthy argument, It's been decided that no more trucks will be coming home with me until one goes away.

Since the Cummins isn't going anywhere, The Blazer has to go first.

Whom did you argue with?

the goat doesn't count

My Mother.

About a year after she bought this house, I took over making the payments and covering the insurance and taxes. I've still always thought of it as her house, and she still is very picky on what the neighbors can see.

She doesn't like my truck collection, tire collection, camper shells. I would put some of it in the big garage, however she has it filled with stuff from her last house, barely leaving my enough room for my three big roll around tool boxes and a bench with a vise.
