Once you get by th he whole felony thing...there's a special treatment for those people in prison.
Never seen it but I do have cable. Good luck.
The atlas I6 has it's own bell housing bolt pattern, so you will need an atlas specific 4l60EIf you want a I6 look up 2002 trail blazer they had them and they were built,2 over head cams fi,big torque.

Yeah, I am more of a Big block guy but I’m also a huge fan of 6 in a row even though they may not have the BBC or diesel type grunt. Hell, I’d rather have an old 6 banger over a new “LS” engine just because they are something different and still have more off idle torque than a “LS”, especially the 292.Oh yeah, I wouldn't say the inline atlas is a tq monster. But the 06 and up versions made 275 feet of the torques and the 290 horses of the powers.
And you could maybe push those over 300 with some breathing help. Compared to the Jeep 4.0 that is a gold standard in Jeep's, makes 190...
@Larry is a big block guy.
And for big block guys like him. (And me) those are pretty small numbers.
Not really ground shaking numbers but maybe could be a fun engine to stick in a old Chevy luv? Or maybe a 47-55 truck?
73-77 Nova? Volvo pv444?

Since your coming clean, guess it's to fess up and tell us the vehicle tooYeah, I am more of a Big block guy but I’m also a huge fan of 6 in a row even though they may not have the BBC or diesel type grunt. I’ll be honest, I haven’t driven many Atlas engines but never was impressed with any of them as I had old 250/292 low end grunt expectations out of them. I do like the idea of a modern multiport injected inline though. Chrysler is coming out with a new inline 6 for the RAM trucks in 2021/22. Anxious to see how it turns out.
I tell ya, one of the worst engine jobs I ever did was on Rob’s Trailblazer. My gawd! Nothing was easy on this sumbish! But, I will say Rob got his moneys worth out of it. He and his wife bought it new and had around 200k on it when it exploded. Dropped in a used engine and she is still going strong today.
It was knocking hard and spit out a rod on the shop floor just as it crested the entrance. BOOM! Knocka, knocka, knocka....screech!

This thing was a frustrating sumbish to swing an engine. Nothing is easy to get to even for a horse-jocky size guy like me.

I’ll come a clean on a secret….. I’m getting ready to start a project using this 292. It will probably end up with a 2 barrel Holley Sniper, headers and an Offy Intake backed by a 465/205 or maybe even a NV4500 if one pops up for the right price. The engine will be totally redone Larry style before it goes in. This one is a 1968 292. The looong stroke if a 292 is just too cool. Look at those side plates. 6" tall. 235, 250's etc had 4" tall side covers with a much shorter stroke

Well, we assume that the fat block is disappearing from the 68 then....
Ahhhhhh, nope!Well, we assume that the fat block is disappearing from the 68 then....
That's pretty cool. Oddly enough someone else was talking about that mutiport on these engines somewher else. Maybe this thread.
I guess if you motivated enough.
