in the 100s is hot
when it gets in the 100s you will start seeing a lot of hiway trucks having tire problems
when it is that hot I slow down a bit and check tires every time I stop (I check them a lot anyway)

as for the pressure it depends on the tire
if you have a bulging sidewall then you are working the tire and heating it up
your call on whether you take the harsher ride or reduced tire life

The tire was in great shape when I started that morning... I normally look at the outsid of each tire on the truck & trailer before I drive (left over from motorcyle riding) No bubbles or I would have changed the tire...

Just one of those days..... Big O employee said I may have hit something in the road... Could have been but didn't see anything that day.....

between 95 and 100 F ?
