man once you get hydro assist on there it will make a world of difference. the bumper looks great!

Not much of an update. Got the truck done in time to wheel last weekend. Prolly gonna bring it back inside today for some work. Hope to wheel the next two weekends.

Sliders took a beating this weekend along with my pass side quarter. Got hung up on my rear bumper on a root. Definitely gonna narrow the bumper and possibly the bed a little bit. Oh and popped a few tack welds on my pass half door.

i for one ,seem to be glad when the "i don't care anymore" kicks in. when i had JR running,it had new fenders,paint?,etc. i beat the piss out of it one weekend and had a Great time. now, it is fun to drive. NO FEAR!! too late, it's bent.and i like pic 1 and 2...

Well on anything with traction its not much fun! The trails were real icy/muddy yesterday so it wasn't too bad. Definitely helped out having that extra tire because of those conditions though!
Hydro assist is in work and Im much more motivated to finish it now LOL
I ran a hub unlocked for part of the day but for the most part realized that is worse than open when its slick. Just ended up locking both and making multi point turns!
were you able to steer? I sort of assumed that if you were locked in the front that even if your tires were turned, you'd still slide straight forward on the slick stuff if locked up.

hydro assist is a night and day diffrence. You'll be asking yourself why you did not do it earlyer.
Yeah I was able to move the steering wheel and point the tires where I wanted for the most part, but yeah it just pushes a lot. Had to make several point turns when I had both hubs locked.
This is where a locker has the huge advantage as it will unlock if you select 2wd and allow you to steer. This is temporary until I have the $$ for a Detroit or an Ox
