43" wide outside to outside and 36 or 39" Long I can't remember. I measured for it with the seats in place and it extends over them all the way.

241/205 doubler?

Thats for later though. Current project still underway. Made some progress on it today in a few hours time.

Got my rear seats and belts in yesterday!

I know they don't match. I only had one so I ordered another. My buddy hs the matching one to the one I had. I'm just gonna trade him for the new one so mine look the same. Otherwise my OCD will flare up :haha:

Ok so I changed up the V bars in the Halo and moved them more into the bend so the two down bars and V brace in the halo meet at the same place. Excuse the tape and 2x4's :D

Critiques?

Nice Brian...

Blue tape is one of my favorite tools...:waytogo:

If you're really good you can poke holes in it and tack everything together...:D

Yeah its pretty useful stuff! The only tubes welded at all there is the two ends of the halo to the B pillar. Everything else is held together by tape :haha:

If I HAD to criticize your work I would have suggested that you move the V-braces towards the center of the bends. I see your concerns with the halo being a bit narrow, I would have aimed for dead center of the bends of the B pillar (Right where the top of the blue X is). Basically I would try to have a support at the center of every bend but realistically the cage would look like a jungle gym
I'm glad you caught that and made the proper adjustments

Can I be the first to say it this time?
-"That cage needs more triangulation!"- Just kidding
Looks great, keep up the awesome work!:waytogo::waytogo: We are all watching you very closely.

Well I moved those V bars in the Halo with Mnorbys suggestions. They pretty much hit the center of the bend there.

I made the Halo narrower with the intention of narrowing the rear next year, but yea it could be a bit wider. I think I am gonna run a small piece from the point where the Halo ties in on the B Pillar down at a 45 to the vertical post on the B pillar to triangulate that area since it doesnt meet at the bend.

I think someone should start a Blazer cage building thread with lots of pics and theory as to what works and what doesn't. That would help everyone who wants to build a cage get some good ideas as to what to do.

^ THIS... I am going to start looking for ideas as I am going to be ordering a soft top and want everybody to be safe just in case.

BTW, I love your truck. It's a cousin to mine, except yours is wayyyy cooler :waytogo::waytogo::bow:
