im from grants nm a small town and there is some prime places to go wheeling out here...

Do either of you [or anyone ]know of any where close to Roswell to go?

Ok, I think Cali should have been higher on the list, and Ut should have been higher. Let's face it within half an hour of SLC you have so many places to wheel. That's without even going into Moab or the southern portion of the state. But AZ has lots of places to wheel so I think that might be right.

That was going to be my question was where is FL on the list? I figure in the lower 25% of the list... Here in Pensacola we used to have some bad boy swap action that has went away. Jones Swap on New Years Day is redneck heaven. But as said, the tree huggers won.

I know Cali has some spots because that's where I'm originally from before I joined up, but I still say tennessee is lame and I still have my same truck WOOOOOOHHH!!!!!

It can't be too lame.People from Florida are moving in everyday.

the criteria was, (with the mag in front of me with the sick truck w/ rockwells)

the pop.
elevation
temps,
prercipitation (mud?(
median home price
local shops
clubs

about it.

Cali should be much higher on that list. Weve got the rubicon, fordyce, pismo, dumont dunes, glamis dunes, the hammers, hollister hills and a million other trails + the best weather and hottest bitches. :D
xamillion. Its all aboot cali! except for smog...
But since they used median home price as a decideing factor, that puts CA way down, its rediculous over here.

haha smog..south park <3..bergen county is ****ing rediculous, i live in bergen (not a snob.) just have to say that with all the dumb assholes out here..anyways, yeah i mean some houses are 100,000 a piece, you can't get a house by me for 500,000 no matter how bad!

man, that is cool that my state is number 2... if someone doesn't mind, will you post the cities and wheelin spots they were talking about in nevada? Thanks.

Tenn. is a great place to wheel as i grew up 15 minutes from the Tenn line in alabama and visited wheelin in the country all the time. there are also many other places to wheel if you check out the new fourwheeler issue. i also lived just NW of nashville in clarksville for the last 7 years where we have Land between the lakes aka turkey bay and paddies bluff within 1.5 hours. there is also a wildlife area out close to memphis that is like 70,000 acres to go have fun on. thats not a typo either. so yes tenn is a great place to wheel especially if you are centrally located and can get to all within 4 hours.

I remember them mentioning: Moon Rocks (between sparks and pyramid lake), Hunter Lake Road (southwest Reno), Budweiser Canyon (northwest reno/peavine mountain), Fordyce (in Cali), and the Rubicon (also in Cali.) along with some others that I have never heard of, or just didn't know they had a trail name.

Glad to see NV at #2! I have extreme rock crawling within 10 minutes of where I live (Las Vegas). Logandale NV, actually has trails mapped out and are rated. It is almost like a mini moab!

Here are pic's of the rigs I have owned over the last few years or so. The YJ is my current rig!:o Don't hate:D

Do you know how far apart Roswell [ s.e. New Mexico] and San Antonio are???? Hell Ft.Worth is 9 hours away....

san antonio tx or nm? from tx i would say it's 500+ miles. we made the trip from san antonio tx to las cruces in about 10 hours. that was about 600 miles.

thanks for posting, all those places are within a hour or less from where i live, which is pretty cool.
