has anyone swapped out a 700r4 to a th400,1991 gmc full size jimmy

My 700r4 died after 164k, I know I was lucky to get that many miles out of her! I'm going to install a th400 and need some heads-up info. I have a 1991 full size GMC jimmy with 5.7L (350) TBI. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Rob.

I did. Get a flex plate w/ the dual bolt pattern (700 and 400 have different pattern. And bolt it in. I also riddded my self of the TBI and comp at the same time so I am not sure how that will work. Ge a t400 to 241 adapter and you should be good since the speedo gets info from tcase. Shorter rear driveline, longer front.
