A daily driver. I like the way it looks, plus a V8 and rear wheel drive.

Wow I just read some of it and it sounds pretty neat. How much are they though?
the R&D is the best in the car & truck market starting some of the best trends - the minie van - pt cruser the new dodge truck look ( copyed by ford ) the vipper - but they never back it up in meltel the cars just seem cheep and empty when you sit in them -- it just seems like give it a year and someone else will make the new 300 better using ther car /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I don't see Ford or GM coming out with a V8 sedan. Well definetally not GM. Gm wouldn't know performance if it bit them in the ass anymore. Its a $50,000 Corvette or junk.

Not in america. They have rear drive v8 Impalas in the middle east , Gm's in Austrailia have v8 rear drive. It seems here we are brainwashed in to thinking front drive is better. It just costs more to work on since they need CV alot.
Rear drive will make a comeback, did you see the GTO commercial where they lower the car to the ground while engine running in gear and it starts smoking the rear tires. America is going to come full circle with these retro redesigns , and we will see real cars again ( with more power and cleaner emissions ) . And once again we can spin brody's in wet parking lots late at night /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

The GTO is based off the Australian "Holden"... The GTO is actually imported here from Australia...

Holden is GM owned though, and it is a very good GM motor , I.E " Chevy " v-8 /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Ever hear of a Ford Crown Vic, or a Mercury Marauder, Gran Marquis,Lincoln. Or a GM Cadillac CTSV, Pontiac GTO? They are all RWD V8 sedans.
I would take a Cadillac CTSV with a 5.7 400hp LS6 any day over a POS Dodge.

Yes the car is based of the Austalian GM Holdens but no it isnt imported. The new GTO's assembly plant is located in Oshawa Assembly Plant which btw is also considered one of the best assembly plants in North America. Now if I could just get over the fact that it looks like my moms old Grand Am /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Also it has the LS1 straight out of the Camaro and Trans Am that it supposedly replaced /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif
