ok heres what i have done up to this point, replaced disterbitor, ignition module, plugs, cap and rotor. and this is whats still doing it will crank over but wont fire i don't have an inductive light to check for spark, i have pulled the #1 plug to see if i am getting spark and Nada, anything i am missing?? so just shy of go out and filling that P.O.S:mad: full of lead i thought i would ask for a little help first. Thanks James

Did you replace the whole distributor or just the ignition module? There is also a pick up coil located inside the distributor which can be bad. Don't get this confused with the ignition coil.

Make sure everything is plugged into the dist, When I put mine together I was wondering why it wouldn't start for about 20 mins untill I realized I forgot to plug the dist together, hah

i replaced the whole distributor and everything is brand new, I have checked the all the connections a few times and have even checked the fuse and it still wont start I'm getting fuel but no spark.???????

Have you replaced the ignition coil? Did this no start problem happen before you replaced the cap and rotor?

yea it started happening about a week and a half after putting in the motor. thats why i replaced everything.and still had the same problem. i have figured out what the problem is i had a bad pick up coil in the new distributor. that really threw me for a loop. you wouldn't expect it with a brand new dist. but i guess anything is possible. a BIG THANKS to all that gave me some advice thanks again.

James
