Needs some help guys! i recently bought a set of 6" leaf springs for the k5. However i bolted them up and the angle of my drive line is still almost facing forward instead of angled up so the driveshaft can align properly. So do i need to cut the perches off and change the angles to raise the alignment or is there another trick i'm not seeing here. thanks

did you lower the transfer case crossmember already? that helped my angle a bit when i did it.

That's not what you need to do anyways. Either match (well, exact opposite angles) the t-case output shaft angle with the pinion, or CV shaft it.

are the springs in the correct way, If there in backwards, the pinion will be facing down due to the angle shims being the wrong way. Take some pics

Careful with messing with the mfgs. kit... Angle of you pinion will look as if its down. The angles are to be the same as the shaft going out of the tranny.. Parallel angle for proper U-Joint timing. great link; http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/Driveline-101.shtml
scroll down to see how its supposed to be. Note: the pinion angle should actually be ever so slightly down if you expect any axle wrap... Note #2: point the pinion up towards the tranny if you are using a CV joint, but only then.....my 2 bits.
