Heaph's Build Thread - Built not Bought

its gettin there, been rainin every other day. This weekend Im buyin that 77CCDually only catch is I have to put it together in the guys garage in Western, MA. Couple weekends and I'll have some good updates on this thing.
 
Wow, i need to build a truck more often b/c its amazing what you find in here now. Keep up the good work!! :thumb:
 
Here is the beginning to my attempt at a tilt front clip. If it turns out how I picture it in my head it should be radical.

Damn, man...you're gonna need a CDL to drive this thing by the time it's done :haha:...hope it's goin well, looks great so far.
 
EXTREMELY cool build man!!! i just spent the last 3 hours reading and studying this build and i've got so many new ideas that i want incorporate into my build. and what better timing, i'm starting my build in 3 weeks. my hat is off to you man, what a massive undertaking and you are plugging right along. efin cool!!!!!

Ive just started my duece and a 1/2 K5 build this week. Im going to be using your build as my bible :saweet: :deal:.
 
a old family friend built a hot rod pickup with a tilt nose on it, he had it hooked up to gear drive that would open and close the nose by a switch in the cab.

I know this is backtracking quite a bit but, what kind of hardware did you use when you replaced the rivits. There's a fastenall down the street from my work and everything they have is too long or too short. I'm going to start tearring down my frame soon and replacing all the rivits with bolts/washers and box it in.
