No you pop up the chrome cover on the bottom of the mirror the bolts are there. You will be left with 3 holes in your door, they have threaded inserts in them so its not a nut and bolt, just a bolt
Exactly. But keep in mind how rusted and damaged it may be. That's why my passenger mirror turned into a replacement mirror. I figure I'd just tighten everything up and put the cover back on... nope. I could have gotten away with installing new threaded inserts, but I had no rivet gun, or those threaded inserts.. mirror came with plastic anchors. The clamp for the mirror wouldn't tighten either, threads were jacked up.
