So in the process of replacing my heater core, I came across a little plastic tab connected to one of the vaccum actuators that attaches to the door that controls weather the air goes to the dash vents or the floor vents.
Well, that little plastic tab was broken so the door was halfway between and I was getting air in both places. Unfortunatly I couldn't find a replacement so I took to making one of my own.
Attached is a pic of the old tab (broken) and the two new tabs that I printed out on the rapid prototyping machine we have at work. I work for a SolidWorks reseller so I whipped the model up in SolidWorks this morning.
I am gonna try this out when I get home and if it fits I will post the .STL file so that if anyone every needs one in the future, they can have it done at their local rapid prototyping shop.
UPDATE: Well, this thing fit perfectly so I have attached the source STL file in post #3. My prototyper uses pretty flimsy material so I don't think it will hold up very long, I would suggest if you have one made, get it done in some nice ABS or even aluminum for longevity.

I know a guy that runs 4 Haans machines. I will see what he comes up with for an aluminum run.
