so I have tried and tried again the prying and I cannot get the head off... any other ideas?

well, than your missing a bolt... what yr motor?

no i finally got it. i needed a bigger breaker bar.. it was stuck on there pretty good.

what did the failed gasket area look like? sign's of a leak passage?

In the back of the drivers side head there was a "passageway" for the coolant

got the heads back, installed them, installed the intake and then the therm housing and BAM muther f'er is stripped the hell out... well time to find a tap n die set...

put a helicoil in it..

im going to google that.. never used em..

it's a thread insert.. drill it, tap it to size for helicoil, install insert.. use same size bolt as factory.... 3/8-16...
