Hello old friends. 1980 step side build.

WOW! Looks so much better with the Rally wheels and 35's!!!! Great looking truck! Love the name too, makes me think of Eustace from the cartoon show "Courage the Cowardly Dog", LOL! How are you liking the Atomic EFI so far?
That's exactly where she got the name from. They have the same temperament it seems.

Haven't finished the install just yet. I'm not good with electronic doodads and the perfect riding weather doesn't make it any easier. Should have it up and running here in a few weeks.

That is awesome!!!Love that show!

I don't blame you there, might as well enjoy the nice weather! I'll look forward to an EFI update!

Alllllrighty then. So it's been a minute but the old man is running like a top. Finally got the MSD Atomic system done and dialed in. He runs like a top and is by far the most enjoyable mod I've ever done on these trucks. Not gonna lie but it wasn't easy but it wasn't hard either. After figuring out my wonderful wiring skills was the problem it wasn't starting he fired right up. He ran a little rough in the beginning having good friends in high places got the Atomic not only delivering fuel but in conjunction with an ignition box, distributor and coil it also controls timing. So no matter where I am it should always run like it does now. So far no complaints and only praises on to some pictures

Not very good at the interwebs it seems.

Made it 45 min across town with the MSD literally out of the box and bolted in.

After a few days it looked like this. Actually this pic made it on the MSD facebook page.

And he is ready for daily duties for my wife and daughter. From here on out I will restore the interior. Needs little things like switches, stereo, seat recovered and new headliner. I did get the steering wheel straight finally too
