Help me figure out where to land these suckers...

For recreational use CO2 is fine. We just set the regulator to the desired pressure and use a normal air chuck.

Most of our air bumps are only running about 50 to 100 PSI.

Get rid of the factory spring plate and use a flat one. Land the bump on the plate with the u bolts cut off at the top of the nuts. I just did a set on a blazer with 10" to 12" of vertical travel and they hit very well and don't get interference from the nuts.

You can use CO2 in the bumps, its not recommended by all the shock companies. But if its all you have.......

Our bumps come pre-charged with 150psi. No need to do anything but bolt them on. :thumb:

I mounted those Daystars yesterday useing the stock perch upside down and set back about 3/4 inch. Also used DIY'S flat spring plates. Have not had a chance to test them yet.
I figured for as little as I use this truck and for the price, I'll give them a shot they have to be better than those Energy ones cause they didn't work for me.

Maybe it is just the picture. But I think you should put some lateral bracing on three sides or box the mounting tube to the frame. The beating those take will bend or break the mount with just supported by the end.

Just my 2 cents.

They have a YouTube vid of these things mounted on the ends and it seems to work. Sure, if I was raceing this thing I wouldn't put them on. I'm going up to Big Bear in 2 weeks, we'll see how this mount will fair.
