Started with a simple front brake job on my '73 K-5 (350-350-203) and I wound up tearing everything down to the axle shafts. Now I've got what I think is called a "spindle seal" and can't figure out where it goes.
There were two seals that I knew of, the "oil deflector" and the "spindle seal". I figured out the deflector cause the original was intact. The smaller seal is about 1-5/8" in diameter. It must have disintegrated cause it was no where to be found when I disassembled. Also, it's V-shaped and I'm not sure which way it goes on.
PLEEEEEEEEASE help. I really want to get this thing back together ASAP.
THANKS!!!
